Nancy Swearengen
a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, with supplementary course work in anthropology. Nancy is, among other things, an enthusiastic botanist, and has specialized in nature education and interpretation for more than two decades. A particular interest is the “politics of water.” Among her favorite activities as a staff member at the University of California Botanical Garden in Berkeley, California, She headed up the Mediterranean Garden Society local Bay area chapter.
